Sharlene Bamboat (b. 1984, Pakistan) works predominantly in video and installation. Her works have exhibited at galleries and festivals internationally, including the Forum Expanded section of the Berlin Film Festival, Aga Khan Museum (Toronto), Art Gallery of Windsor (Canada), BFI London Film Festival (UK) and Sharjah Film Platform (UAE). Sharlene often works collaboratively, most notably with artist Alexis Mitchell under the name Bambitchell. The duo were fellows at Akademie Schloss Solitude in Stuttgart, Germany (2016-17), and residents at the MacDowell Colony in New Hampshire, USA (Spring 2018). Bambitchell have an upcoming solo exhibition at Mercer Union in Toronto, in Fall 2019.

Bamboat currently lives and works between Toronto and Montreal.
